Power was available 99.99% of the time in 2024 because we invest $3-4 million each year in upgrades to our electric system and use the most effective power restoration technology. Our lineworker crews work round-the-clock, sending members real-time outage notifications through SmartHub to keep you informed.
2. Providing At-Cost Electric Service
As a not-for-profit electric co-op, PPEC provides its members peak load management programs, free home energy audits, efficiency rebates on appliances, energy-saving calculators, and usage analytics through SmartHub to help you save. In 2024, PPEC returned $2 million to members via capital credits – a perk of patronage.
3. Committed to Our Communities
In 2024, PPEC donated over $50,000 to local charities and initiatives through Operation Round Up and awarded $5,400 in scholarships. PPEC provides safety demonstrations to thousands of locals and participates in parades, service projects, junior livestock auctions, and other events to give back locally. One of our most popular events is our annual family fun day!
