Osmose Utilities Services, a contractor for Paulding Putnam, may be performing wood pole and/or pad mounted utility equipment inspections in your area. The scope of their work is to locate all wooden poles that Paulding Putnam is attached to and perform an integrity inspection.
This process involves walking and digging around the pole, as well as hammering and drilling into the pole. In some cases, entering your property will be necessary to access Paulding Putnam equipment.
Inspections will start on April 14.
Pole inspections will be conducted in the Fort Brown and Continental Substation footprints. These areas include:
- Brown, Auglaize, Jackson, Latty, Highland, and Washington townships in Paulding county
- Monroe, Greensburg, Perry, and Palmer townships in Putnam county

URD equipment inspections will be conducted in the Cecil and Hessen substation footprints. These areas include:
- Crane, Emerald, Harrison, Jackson, Paulding, Carryall, and Auglaize townships in Paulding county and Delaware township in Defiance county
- Adams, Jefferson, Madison, and Marion townships in Allen county and Preble township in Adams county
Any contractor working for Paulding Putnam should be able to identify themselves. They will be driving a truck that says Osmose and has the Paulding Putnam logo.
