welcome Madelyn Lamb to PPEC team

Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative is proud to welcome Madelyn Lamb, our new part-time Marketing Specialist, to the PPEC team. She prefers to go by Maddy and was PPEC's 2018 Youth Tour delegate... she loved the co-op so much, she just couldn't stay away!

She lives in Van Wert and is attending college at Bowling Green, where she will graduate in May 2023. Please enjoy this Q&A with Maddy.

  1. Can you tell us a bit about your family and background?

I have three younger siblings: Ella, Evvy, and Hannah. I love watching my sisters grow up and explore different activities!

I live on my family farm where we have harness horses, show pigs, rabbits, a bunch of cats, and our family dog, Bean.

2.Tell us about your schooling, degree, etc.

I’m currently in my last year at Bowling Green State University studying Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. I also graduated from Crestview High School.

3. Where do you live (city/town)?

I live in Van Wert County. I enjoy being close to my extended family and being able to see them on a regular basis.

4. Why did you want to work at PPEC?

The member involvement and appreciation were two of the reasons why I wanted to work at PPEC. I was selected to go on the 2018 Youth Tour from PPEC, where I learned all about Cooperatives and met so many other people from electric cooperatives around the country!

5.  Can you tell us about your former work history and any related experiences?

I was a marketing intern at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds.

6.  What are you looking forward to working here?

I’m looking forward to getting to know more about everything PPEC does. I am also looking forward to getting to know everyone who works at PPEC.

7. What are some of your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I love watching the weather. I really enjoy storm chasing and learning about how the weather happens.

8.  A fun or little-known fact about you?

I won a Gatorade sweepstakes where I got to play beach volleyball with Olympian April Ross.

9.  A favorite quote or motto that inspires you or you like to live by?

“Always treat people with kindness” - Harry Styles

Welcome to the team, Maddy!
